The San Antonio Spurs<\/a> are on the road on Saturday afternoon as they travel to take on the Denver Nuggets<\/a> in a Western Conference showdown.<\/p>\n

San Antoino enters Saturday\u2019s game with a 59-18 record after defeating the Los Angeles Clippers<\/a> on the road on Thursday night to extend their winning streak to 11 games.<\/p>\n

In Thursday\u2019s victory over the Clippers, De\u2019Aaron Fox led the way for the Spurs as he recorded 22 points, eight rebounds and five assists while Stephon Castle added 20 points, four rebounds and five assists of his own.<\/p>\n

Now San Antonio will try to extend their winning streak to 12 games on Saturday as they face off against the Nuggets in a tough road matchup.<\/p>\n

On the other side, Denver enters Saturday\u2019s contest with a 49-28 record after defeating the Utah Jazz<\/a> on the road on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n

Jamal Murray<\/a> led the way for the Nuggets in Wednesday\u2019s victory as he ended the game with 37 points, five rebounds and five assists while Nikola Jokic<\/a> recorded a triple double with 15 points, 17 rebounds and 12 assists.<\/p>\n

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Saturday afternoon\u2019s matchup, both squads may be without some of their key players due to injuries.<\/p>\n

Spurs Injury Report: Will Victor Wembanyama Play?\"San<\/p>\n

For the Spurs, they enter Saturday\u2019s matchup with a clean injury report as they have nobody listed on it, including center Victor Wembanyama<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Of course, Wembanyama missed Thursday\u2019s victory over the Clippers due to right ankle injury management but he is off the injury report and will return on Saturday against the Nuggets.<\/p>\n

Nuggets Injury Report: Will Peyton Watson, Tim Hardaway Jr. Play?<\/p>\n

On the other side, the Nuggets have four players listed on their injury report, including both Peyton Watson and Tim Hardaway Jr.<\/p>\n

Denver has ruled out Watson due to a right hamstring strain that caused him to exit Wednesday\u2019s victory over the Jazz in the second quarter and it was reported on Friday that the Nuggets are listing him as week-to-week.<\/p>\n

With Watson sidelined, Cameron Johnson and Julian Strawther could both be in line for increased roles until he is cleared to return.<\/p>\n

The Nuggets have also ruled out Spencer Jones due to a right hamstring strain while Zeke Nnaji is sidelined with a left hip strain.<\/p>\n
