In his first meeting with the Warriors, Sheppard scored 31 points on 12-of-25 shooting from the field.\u00a0<\/p>\n So, the second-year guard has thrived against Golden State, which is allowing over 26 points per game to opposing point guards in the 2025-26 season.\u00a0<\/p>\n Sheppard has made an impact off the bench and as a starter, and he\u2019s arguably the most reliable shooting option outside of Kevin Durant on this Houston roster. He\u2019s a great bet on Sunday night.\u00a0<\/p>\n Rockets vs. Warriors Prediction and Pick<\/p>\n This line has moved in Golden State\u2019s favor with Curry expected to return, but the star guard is likely going to be on a minutes restriction.\u00a0<\/p>\n The Warriors have gone well under .500 this season with Curry out, and I\u2019m not sure this offense can sustain a level high enough to beat Houston \u2013 even at home.<\/p>\n The Rockets have won five games in a row and are in the mix for the No. 3 seed in the West, depending upon their finish to the regular season. The Warriors are also just 4-7 against the spread as home underdogs, which is the third-worst mark in the NBA.<\/p>\n Golden State did upset Houston in overtime back on March 5, but the Rockets have been a much better team over their last 10 games, ranking sixth in the league in net rating (+11.1).
