Thunder\u2019s path to the Finals<\/p>\n

With elite defense and MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander on their side, are the Thunder poised to dominate the NBA Finals?<\/p>\n

The\u00a02025 NBA playoffs<\/a>\u00a0are down to one last series, with the 2025 Finals pairing the Oklahoma City Thunder<\/a>\u00a0against the\u00a0Indiana Pacers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Thunder have looked very impressive during their run through the Western Conference. A first-round sweep of the Memphis Grizzlies<\/a> was followed by their only serious gut-check of these playoffs, a seven-game triumph over the Denver Nuggets<\/a>. The Western Conference finals figured to be a test, but Oklahoma City dispensed with the Minnesota Timberwolves<\/a> in five games.<\/p>\n

In the East, the Pacers have been even more impressive. A feisty series with the Milwaukee Bucks<\/a> was wrapped up in five, as was Indiana’s second-round upset of the Cleveland Cavaliers<\/a>. Saturday’s win<\/a> over the New York Knicks<\/a> gave the Pacers a six-game series victory, setting up the battle in the NBA Finals with the Thunder.<\/p>\n
