The Golden State Warriors<\/a> project to remain severely shorthanded for the remainder of the season. But the Warriors will get some reinforcements for tonight\u2019s game against the Houston Rockets. Tipoff is set for 10 p.m. (ET).<\/p>\n

Steph Curry Finally Gets To Play With Porzingis and His Real Splash Brother<\/p>\n

Golden State will be an NBA Play-In participant for the fourth time and third straight time overall. The Warriors have dealt with major injuries throughout the season and appear to be destined to be the Western Conference 10th seed. The Warriors, who are three games in back of the ninth-place Los Angeles Clipper, are the only team of the top 20 teams in league with a losing record at 36-41.<\/p>\n

Golden State enters tonight\u2019s game against Houston<\/a> looking to get their first win of their current five-game homestand. The Warriors have lost their last three with each setback coming by at least seven points. They have lost 20 of their last 31 games. Stephen Curry<\/a> has only played in three of those games. Meanwhile, Kristaps Porzingis<\/a> has sat out 19 of the Dubs most recent games while Moses Moody<\/a> has missed 16 and Al Horford<\/a> has not been available on 14 occasions.<\/p>\n

While the Warriors have eight players still listed on tonight\u2019s injury report, the Curry brothers could play together for the first time in the NBA. Noah Furtado of The San Francisco Chronicle<\/a> reported yesterday that Stephen Curry is expected to return to action after missing the past two months. Curry is officially listed as questionable.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow, Superman\u2019s back,\u201d\u00a0Gary Payton II told Furtado. \u201cSo, we\u2019ll figure it out with that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stephen Curry Excited About Playing With Kristaps Porzingis and Seth Curry For First Time<\/p>\n

Curry,<\/a> sidelined since January 30 due to a knee injury, has played some of his best basketball over the last three years. The 38-year-old has only played in 39 games, where the Warriors are 23-16 in those games. He has yet to play with Porzingis or Seth Curry.<\/p>\n

Porzingis<\/a> has also been in and out of the Warriors since being acquired at the NBA trade deadline. However, Porzingis has played more often than not over the last month. The 7-2 center has played pretty well lately as he averages 18 points and 1.3 blocks in just 24 minutes over his last 11 appearances.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was telling him, I don\u2019t know how people are going to guard our pick-and-roll,\u201d\u00a0Curry said while talking about playing the prospects of finally playing with Porzingis.\u00a0\u201cAnytime you have talent like that and two guys that can demand attention, it\u2019s always a good thing, to create good offense and help elevate whoever we\u2019re out there with.\u201d<\/p>\n

Curry also has played with younger brother Seth Curry. Seth Curry, who has only appeared in six games, is also listed as questionable for tonight\u2019s contest due to an abductor.\u00a0 Like older bro, Seth Curry is known for his sharpshooting. He averages 6.5 points, one three-pointer and an effective field goal percentage of 69.2 over 11.5 minutes a contest.<\/p>\n

\u201cWanna get out there with him at least one time and experience that and put on a show for the fans,\u201d Seth said a few days ago via ClutchPoints<\/a>. \u201cI know that\u2019s one of his motivating factors\u2026 to see us out there on the court together, but no pressure.\u201d<\/p>\n

Santos, Horford and Post\u2019s Injury Updates<\/p>\n

Gui Santos is dealing with a right pelvic contusion but is likely to play against the Rockets. Santos continues to impress with his development. His availability is huge for the Warriors as they are shorthanded upfront. As Horford, Moody, Quinten Post and LJ Cryer will join Jimmy Butler III on the sidelines.<\/p>\n

Speaking of Horford and Post, both players are expected to be revaluated this week. Horford will sit out his 12th straight games with a calf injury, but he reportedly is making good progress in his rehab.<\/p>\n

\u201cWarriors say Al Horford went through parts of practice today and is making \u201cgood progress\u201d in his rehab, per The Athletics\u2019 Nick Friedell<\/a>. He will be re-evaluated next week \u2014 but seems to be getting close to a return before the regular season ends.<\/p>\n

Post has been hampered by foot soreness recently and is also making progress, according to Marc J. Spears of Andscape. Spears said that Post is slated to be re-evaluated this week.<\/p>\n

\u201cWarriors say center Quinten Post, who did not play in Thursday\u2019s game vs. Cleveland due to right foot soreness, is making good progress, Spears tweeted. \u201cHe will continue with daily rehabilitation and light on-court workouts and will be re-evaluated again next week.\u201d<\/p>\n

Charles Bassey Signs Another 10-day Deal<\/p>\n

With the Warriors shorthanded and playing five games over the next seven days, Golden State decided<\/a> to sign Charles Bassey<\/a> to a 10-day contract today. It is the sixth 10-day deal that the former second round pick has signed this year. He has inked agreements with Memphis, Philadelphia (2) and Boston (2).<\/p>\n

Bassey, known for his shot-blocking and rebounding ability, has not seen much action in the NBA this year. The 6-10 big averages 2.9 points and 2.6 rebounds in 6.6 minutes over eight appearances this year. Although he has been impressive during his time in the G-League this season. Bassey takes over the Warriors 15th spot after the team decided against re-signing Omer Yurtseven for the remainder of the season as he had already signed two 10-day pacts.<\/p>\n

Yurtseven scored a season-high 17 points, on 6 of 9 shooting, grabbed eight rebounds and doled out four assists in 29 minutes against San Antonio in his last outing with the Warriors. Overall. Yurtseven averaged 3.8 points and 3.2 rebounds in nine appearances for the Dubs.<\/p>\n
