Chicago Sky<\/a> star Angel Reese<\/a> has been her brother Julian Reese\u2019s biggest fan amid his rookie season with the Washington Wizards<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Julian Reese, a 6-foot-9 power forward from the Maryland Terrapins, went undrafted in the 2025 NBA<\/a> Draft. He signed short-term contracts with multiple NBA teams before landing with the Wizards in February.<\/p>\n

Heading into Sunday\u2019s game against the Brooklyn Nets<\/a>, Julian Reese had already made eight appearances for Washington, including six starts. He\u2019s produced averages of 10.0 points on 56.1% shooting, 10.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 28.5 minutes per contest.<\/p>\n

Julian Reese kept his foot on the gas on Sunday with another strong performance for the Wizards.<\/p>\n

Julian Reese was one of the bright spots for Washington as they suffered a 121-115 road loss<\/a> to Brooklyn at Barclays Center. This marked the Wizards\u2019 sixth straight defeat as they dropped to 17-61 on the season. Washington is well on its way to finishing the campaign with the worst record in the NBA.<\/p>\n

Julian Reese had another big game, though. He dropped a monster 17-point, 16-rebound double-double in 44 minutes of play. He shot 8-of-16 from the field, but struggled from the charity stripe, going 1-of-5. The Baltimore, Maryland native also added three steals to round out his performance.<\/p>\n

Julian Reese\u2019s strong play drew a reaction from her older sister. Angel Reese shared a post from the Wizards on her Instagram stories<\/a>, along with her reaction to her brother\u2019s performance.<\/p>\n

\u201cMR. DOUBLE DOUBLE,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n

Angel Reese knows a thing or two about double-doubles. She has firmly established herself as a double-double machine in the WNBA<\/a>, averaging 14.1 points and 12.9 rebounds per game in her first two seasons. The 6-foot-3 forward also led the league in rebounds for two straight years.<\/p>\n

It is clear that the double-double gene runs strong in the Reese family.<\/p>\n
