The OKC Thunder<\/a> didn’t have to search too hard to find good looks in a 146-111 win over the depleted Utah Jazz<\/a> on Easter Sunday night at Paycom Center.<\/p>\n

OKC recorded a season-high point total while shooting 58.1% from the field and 53.3% from deep.<\/p>\n

OKC (62-16) now holds a three-game lead over the San Antonio Spurs<\/a> (59-19) for the top seed in the Western Conference. The Thunder has four games left on its schedule, with the next one coming on the road against the Los Angeles Lakers<\/a> at 9:30 p.m. CT Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The Thunder’s magic number<\/a> to clinch the No. 1 seed is now two.<\/p>\n

Jalen Williams was everywhere in brotherly battle with Cody Williams<\/p>\n

Utah head coach Will Hardy has unintentionally seen Jalen Williams’<\/a> face more times than he can count.<\/p>\n

He often sees him when he walks around the Jazz’s facility and runs into Cody Williams<\/a>, who’s always FaceTiming his older brother.<\/p>\n

“At this point, I just expect that it’s Jalen on the other side,” Hardy said with a smile during his pregame availability.<\/p>\n

Hardy saw a lot of Jalen’s face on Sunday as well, and this time it was intentional. The All-NBA forward made his presence known from the opening tipoff, as he had an impact on both ends of the floor.<\/p>\n

Jalen racked up 15 points, seven assists and two rebounds on 5-for-9 shooting from the field (1 for 2 from deep) in 26 minutes. Cody also recorded eight points, five assists and three steals in the latest meeting between the two brothers.<\/p>\n

\"Oklahoma<\/p>\n

Lu Dort flexed his shooting skills<\/p>\n

It’s a matter of muscle memory for Lu Dort<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In addition to being an elite defender, the seventh-year guard has steadily improved as a shooter throughout his career. And most of them come off the catch via a kickout pass.<\/p>\n

Dort’s rhythm was seemingly thrown off late in the second quarter, though. He caught a kickout pass from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander<\/a> and was unable to get a shot off due to a strong closeout by Brice Sensabaugh<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But it didn’t matter. He simply got Sensabaugh to bite on a pump fake before taking one side dribble and draining the deep bomb.<\/p>\n

Dort was feeling it that much Sunday, as he chipped in 13 points on 5-for-7 shooting from the field (3 for 5 from deep) in 21 minutes. And he has been flexing his shooting skills often recently.<\/p>\n

After a slow start to the season, Dort is now shooting a combined 14 for 27 from deep (51.9%) in his last six outings. He appears to be hitting his stride at the right time with the postseason rapidly approaching.<\/p>\n

Chet Holmgren stole the show<\/p>\n

Kyle Filipowski<\/a> was seconds away from a highlight play.<\/p>\n

Even the Paycom Center crowd was audibly impressed by the 6-foot-11 forward’s flashiness, as he spun around Chet Holmgren<\/a> before delivering a behind-the-back pass to Cody Williams.<\/p>\n

But it wasn’t the highlight play Filipowski expected. Holmgren quickly recovered and rejected the ensuing dunk attempt by Williams, drawing an even larger reaction from the crowd.<\/p>\n

Holmgren continued to steal the show throughout the night. He showcased his shot-swatting skills by recording four blocks in only 22 minutes, and that wasn’t the only department he dominated.<\/p>\n

Holmgren also poured in 21 points and seven rebounds on 8-for-11 shooting from the field (4 for 5 from deep).<\/p>\n

Tip-ins<\/p>\n

\u220e Shai Gilgeous-Alexander recorded 20 points and seven assists in 24 minutes before sitting out the entire fourth quarter. He has now scored at least 20 points in 138 straight games. It’s the longest streak in NBA history.<\/p>\n
