Yet, despite these individual performances, the Pelicans\u2019 offense completely evaporated when it mattered most. The team managed to hit just a single field goal in the final 4:50 of the fourth quarter.<\/p>\n

Perhaps the most alarming takeaway for New Orleans was the quiet fourth quarter from Zion Williamson<\/a>. Zion finished with a respectable 17 points, but managed only a single point in the final, decisive period. When your franchise star goes missing in crunch time, holding onto a lead becomes nearly impossible against a hungry team like the Magic.<\/p>\n
