The Houston Rockets secured a narrow 117-116 win over the Golden State Warriors after Alperen Sengun delivered a decisive basket in the closing seconds.<\/p>\n

Sengun steps up late to seal Rockets’ win<\/p>\n

Playing on the road at the Chase Center, the Rockets managed to edge past the Warriors in a tightly contested game that came down to the final moments. Sengun<\/a> scored the game-winning basket with just 11 seconds remaining, allowing Houston to pull ahead and hold on for the win.<\/p>\n

The Turkish international, who spent nearly 37 minutes on the court, finished with 24 points, along with six rebounds, seven assists, and two blocks, contributing across multiple areas of the game. His all-around performance helped the Rockets<\/a> secure their sixth consecutive victory and their 49th win of the season.<\/p>\n

Houston also received strong scoring support from Kevin Durant, who added 31 points, and Jabari Smith Jr., who contributed 23.<\/p>\n

Warriors fall short despite Curry’s effort<\/p>\n

The loss marked the fourth straight defeat for Golden State and their 42nd of the season, as they were unable to respond in the final possession.<\/p>\n

Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 29 points, while Brandin Podziemski added 18. Despite these contributions, the team fell just short in a game decided by a single basket.<\/p>\n

Thunder extend dominance atop Western Conference<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the NBA, the Oklahoma City Thunder continued their strong run by defeating the Utah Jazz 146-111 in a one-sided contest.<\/p>\n

The result marked the Thunder\u2019s fifth consecutive win and their 62nd of the season, reinforcing their position at the top of the Western Conference standings.<\/p>\n

Chet Holmgren scored 21 points, while Shai Gilgeous-Alexander added 20 to lead the team\u2019s balanced offense.<\/p>\n

On the other side, Utah suffered their ninth straight defeat and their 58th loss of the season. Brice Sensabaugh stood out with 34 points, and Kyle Filipowski added 20, but their efforts were not enough to close the gap.<\/p>\n
