SAN FRANCISCO \u2013 Almost as soon as the Warriors\u2019 117-116 loss to the Rockets<\/a> ended on Sunday night, Seth Curry took a direct path to Golden State\u2019s VP of Team Operations Eric Housen.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He wanted to make sure he became the sole possessor of his older brother Steph\u2019s jersey, a soon-to-be family treasure after the siblings finally, at long last, played their first game together as professionals.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cGot my hands on that right away,\u201d Seth Curry, 35, said. \u201cI\u2019m going to frame that one forever.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a career that includes four titles and two MVPs, Steph Curry, 38, counted playing in an NBA game with his younger brother as a teammate among his greatest accomplishments.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Steph scored 29 points in 26 minutes during his return from a 27-game absence caused by runner\u2019s knee, while Seth put in six points in only his seventh game all season.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThat was a dream come true, to be honest,\u201d Curry said, also adding, \u201cWe\u2019ve both had a very difficult year, honestly him more than me with all the injuries. I was joking, calling us the Rehab Brothers, because it\u2019s been like that all year.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ever since Seth signed with the Warriors during preseason, having the brothers play together<\/a> was a goal for both them and the team. But like ships passing in the night, the timing never seemed to be right.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Seth was not officially signed until December, which is when Steph missed time with a quadriceps injury. But after playing just two games that month, Seth went down with sciatica at around the same time Steph returned.<\/p>\n

By the time Seth finally became healthy enough to play after missing 32 games, Steph was the one who was held out due to runner\u2019s knee.\u00a0<\/p>\n

There was doubt from both parties that it would ever happen. But on Sunday, both brothers were finally healthy enough to play next to each other.\u00a0<\/p>\n

With 6:19 left in the second quarter after a timeout and their mother Sonya videoing the entire spectacle from the stands, Steph checked back into the game with Seth already on the floor, becoming teammates on the court with his brother for the first time since Steph was a senior and Seth was a sophomore in high school.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo have that moment, coming out of a timeout and talking about our matchups, I was having flashbacks to Charlotte Christian School,\u201d Steph said.<\/p>\n

The Curry-to-Curry assist for a bucket never materialized against the Rockets, but the team still has four games to make that happen.<\/p>\n

And even if the Currys are not able to accomplish that goal, they will still forever be able to cherish spending Sunday night as teammates.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen it\u2019s all said and done down the road, I\u2019m sure we\u2019ll put the pictures up from tonight and talk about it,\u201d Steph said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
