The Los Angeles Lakers<\/a> have returned home following an 0-2 road trip and having lost both Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves for the remainder of the regular season<\/a> due to injury. And when they face off against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday, they might be even more short-handed as LeBron James<\/a> popped up on the Lakers\u2019 injury report for the first time in a week.<\/p>\n

LeBron James was officially listed as questionable<\/a> on the Lakers\u2019 injury report for their game against the Thunder, as he\u2019s dealing with the left foot injury that\u2019s bothered him going back to last season. He last appeared on the injury report prior to the Lakers\u2019 game against the Cleveland Cavaliers last week, but that was a back-to-back, a situation where James has been questionable throughout the season.<\/p>\n

In addition to potentially not having their star trio, the Lakers are without Marcus Smart who has arguably been the team\u2019s fourth-best player this season. Smart sustained an ankle injury back on March 21, and Tuesday night will be his eighth straight game missed.<\/p>\n

In the case of James, the Lakers are counting on their 41-year-old star to hold the fort down until Doncic and\/or Reaves could potentially return. Following Doncic\u2019s initial injury update, it was revealed that he was seeking further treatment in Europe<\/a> to potentially expedite his return to the lineup.<\/p>\n

Although the Lakers lost to the Dallas Mavericks, 134-128, in the final game of their two-game trip, James had a vintage performance with 30 points, nine rebounds and 15 assists. He shot 12-of-22 from the field.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s appeared in 57 games this season, at a little over 33 minutes per game. He\u2019s averaged 20.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, 7.1 assists and 1.1 steals with splits of 51.2 percent shooting from the field, 30.9 percent shooting from the 3-point line and 73.8 percent shooting from the free-throw line.<\/p>\n

James was selected to his 22nd All-Star appearance, but his streak of 21 consecutive All-NBA team selections will come to an end as he will not reach the league\u2019s 65 games played requirement.<\/p>\n
