The Chicago Bulls<\/a> are entering a new era<\/a> after parting ways with executive vice president Arturas Karnisovas and general manager Marc Eversley following another disappointing season.<\/p>\n Chicago went just 224-254 over six years under the previous regime and made the playoffs only once. With ownership seeking a new direction, several notable names have already emerged as possible replacements.<\/p>\n Mike Dunleavy Jr.<\/p>\n NBC\u200b\u200d\u200b\u200c\u200d\u200b\u200d\u200c\u200b\u200d\u200b\u200c\u200d\u200b\u200d\u200c Sports\u2019 Kurt Helin<\/a> mentioned Mike Dunleavy Jr. as one of the possible candidates, and he\u2019s certainly the most high-profile of the group since he is the Golden State Warriors<\/a>\u2018 general manager at present.<\/p>\n That fact alone makes him very attractive to the Bulls, who are looking for someone with experience in a winning culture and who knows what a well-constructed team looks like. As soon as he enters the room, Dunleavy exudes an aura of someone with a lot of experience, and that will be a very important factor for a franchise trying to make a comeback after several years of poor performance.<\/p>\n Dunleavy\u2019s main strength would be bringing the Bulls a framework. Bulls have been on the fence for too long, trying to make the playoffs rather than fully rebuilding, which is one of the reasons the front office was even more pressured. Having a head from a great organization can help Chicago not just make the draft and player development their priorities, but also keep a balanced roster rather than making big short-term moves, which ultimately leave the team in the middle.<\/p>\n The issue, however, lies with whether he would actually be willing to leave Golden State because the Bulls, most definitely, would have to present him with the prospects of real authority and a compelling vision for the franchise going \u200b\u200d\u200b\u200c\u200d\u200b\u200d\u200c\u200b\u200d\u200b\u200c\u200d\u200b\u200d\u200cforward.<\/p>\n Kyle Korver GettyAssistant general manager Kyle Korver being a potential fit for Bulls\u2019 front Office<\/p>\n Another candidate whose name is on the hotlist is Korver, who, in addition to playing with the Bulls among other teams, has been serving as an assistant general manager of the Atlanta Hawks<\/a>.<\/p>\n This is what makes him a very interesting personality. He is familiar with Chicago as a place where he used to play, but he also knows the aspects of modern basketball and the front-office side very well.<\/p>\n What sets Korver apart is the potential for a new voice. He wouldn\u2019t come with the same level of senior-top-seat experience as some of the older executives, but he could bring newer ideas and a more current way of looking at the team construction. For a Bulls team that has often felt stale, that could be a real advantage.<\/p>\n Indeed, Korver is a good choice because the league is going through a rapid change. Nowadays, teams emphasize more on shooting, pace, flexibility, and intelligent use of different players on the court, and it is in these areas where Chicago has often lagged behind.<\/p>\n A younger executive with a player\u2019s background could enable the Bulls not only to add players differently but also to desire to be a different kind of \u200d\u200cteam.<\/p>\n Landry Fields<\/p>\n Landry Fields is the third standout name from Helin\u2019s list, and he brings meaningful front-office experience from Atlanta. He may not have the same name recognition as Dunleavy or the former-Bull angle that helps Korver, but he has already been trusted in a major decision-making role. That could make him one of the steadiest candidates on the board.<\/p>\n Fields would appeal to Chicago because he offers both experience and a modern outlook. The Bulls do not just need someone popular; they need someone who can make hard calls on the roster, choose a direction, and stay committed to it.
