On Wednesday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers<\/a> will play the Atlanta Hawks<\/a> (at home) in Ohio.<\/p>\n

The Cavs are coming off a 142-126 win over the Memphis Grizzlies<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Donovan Mitchell<\/a> did not play in the game.<\/p>\n

For Wednesday\u2019s game, the Cavs have announced that Mitchell will be listed as questionable on the injury report.<\/p>\n

Mitchell is in the middle of another excellent season with averages of 27.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 1.5 steals per contest while shooting 48.1% from the field and 36.4% from three-point range in 69 games.<\/p>\n

He is in his fourth season playing for the Cavs after five with the Utah Jazz<\/a>.<\/p>\n

While Mitchell has made the NBA<\/a> playoffs in all eight years, he has never been able to advance to the conference finals.<\/p>\n

The Cavs have had a strong season as the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 50-29 record in 79 games.<\/p>\n

They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak (and have gone 8-2 over their last ten).<\/p>\n

At home, the Cavs are 25-14 in 39 games.<\/p>\n

On Friday, they will head to Atlanta for another game with the Hawks.<\/p>\n

The Cavs finished last season as the top team in the Eastern Conference.<\/p>\n

That said, they lost to the Indiana Pacers<\/a> in the second round of the 2025 NBA playoffs (after sweeping the Miami Heat<\/a>).<\/p>\n

There is a lot of hope that they can make a deep run in 2026.<\/p>\n

Following their two games with the Hawks, the Cavs will wrap up their season against the Washington Wizards (on April 12).<\/p>\n

The Hawks have had a solid season as the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 45-34 record in 79 games.<\/p>\n

They have gone 7-3 over their last ten games (and are 22-17 on the road).<\/p>\n

After their two games against the Cavs, the Hawks will finish up their season on April 12 when they visit the Miami Heat in Florida.<\/p>\n
