As the 2025-26 NBA season winds down, the drama between the Milwaukee Bucks and star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo<\/a> is ramping up.<\/p>\n

With all that is unfolding, Warriors forward Draymond Green expressed on a recent episode of the”Draymond Green Show”<\/a> that he doesn’t foresee this ending in a friendly manner.<\/p>\n

“I love how Giannis treats the Milwaukee Bucks organization,” Green said. “He treats them like, ‘Screw y’all, I don’t care what y’all have to say.’ Meanwhile, they’ve given all of his brothers an opportunity to play NBA basketball. It’s the craziest thing I’ve seen. He’s on the sideline cheering and happy for his brothers, while meanwhile sitting in the back with two fingers in the air telling the Milwaukee Bucks to get the hell out of his face, and ‘I’m going to get y’all investigated.’<\/p>\n

“I think this thing could be headed for a nasty breakup, if it don’t happen soon. Like it’s just getting worse and worse by the day. You have your franchise player kind of getting your organization investigated … This is not going to end well.”<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Antetokounmpo has spent his entire 13-year career with the Bucks, leading the franchise to its second-ever NBA title in 2021. While he has become a staple of the organization, the Bucks have faltered over the past few seasons. The team has been bounced in the first round of the NBA playoffs each of the last three seasons and will miss the postseason this season.<\/p>\n

The two-time NBA MVP has been at the center of trade talks seemingly all season, with ESPN’s Shams Charania reporting on Tuesday that Antetokounmpo told the Bucks he wanted to be traded to the New York Knicks before the season. To add more salt to the wound, Antetokounmpo has publicly exposed the Bucks for holding him out of games despite his being able to play, prompting an NBA investigation<\/a> into the team’s handling of the player participation policy.<\/p>\n

This past Friday marked the 10th game in a row that Antetokounmpo was held out following the hyperextension of his knee, yet the Greek superstar told reporters that it’s not his choosing to be out.<\/p>\n

“I’m available to play, but I’m not in the game,” Antetokounmpo said, via ESPN. “I’m available to play today. Right now. I’m available.”<\/p>\n

Antetokounmpo is under contract<\/a> through next season and has a player option for the 2027-28 campaign, which means the Bucks could attempt to salvage the relationship one final time, but things do not seem to be trending in the right direction.<\/p>\n
