The Brooklyn Nets<\/a> have had a bizarre season in the 2025-26 campaign. They evidently have some talented players, but it seems they are willing to lose games, especially since they have a shot at getting a high draft pick in a loaded 2026 class.<\/p>\n

Despite that, head coach Jordi Fernandez has made sure to get some valuable takeaways. He has done well to develop many of his players, which has led to constant lineup shifts. The players are still doing relatively well, so Fernandez has some positive takeaways.<\/p>\n

Fernandez is glad the Nets are still impressing despite the circumstances<\/p>\n

The Nets<\/a> have upside with a lot of their players, which has been evident this season. Coach Fernandez has done well with what he has, as they have won 19 games despite being seen as one of the worst teams.<\/p>\n

Of course, they are losing all the time, but the future is bright if they continue on this path. They are on track to get a top pick in the loaded 2026 NBA Draft, which could lead them toward a superstar to build around.<\/p>\n

Due to Fernandez shuffling his rotation all the time, the Nets have seen plenty of potential with their players. If they can continue to develop, they could be on track to stay with the franchise for the long-term future.<\/p>\n

If Fernandez made major roster decisions, he would continue helping them develop. That is the right mindset to have when coaching a team that will most likely struggle. With constant development, future seasons could be much better.<\/p>\n

“I didn\u2019t make it easy for all these guys with different lineups. All these different groups that may not be as comfortable together, but they played the right way,” Fernandez said after beating the Bucks on Tuesday<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“We’re playing extremely hard. That\u2019s positive because they\u2019re taking advantage of their minutes and we\u2019re getting better.”<\/p>\n

As the Nets continue to improve the roster, Fernandez will be there to guide the team. He does not like losing, so as soon as they can find a solid foundation, they will be a team to look forward to.<\/p>\n
