{"id":704787,"date":"2026-04-08T07:10:19","date_gmt":"2026-04-08T07:10:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/704787\/"},"modified":"2026-04-08T07:10:19","modified_gmt":"2026-04-08T07:10:19","slug":"moses-moody-receives-standing-ovation-from-warriors-fans-nbc-sports-bay-area-california","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/704787\/","title":{"rendered":"Moses Moody receives standing ovation from Warriors fans \u2013 NBC Sports Bay Area &#038; California"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Warriors guard <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/m\/moodymo01.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Moses Moody<\/a> made his return to Chase Center on Tuesday for the first time since suffering a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcsportsbayarea.com\/nba\/golden-state-warriors\/moses-moody-injury-update-season\/1925900\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">season-ending torn patellar tendon<\/a> in his left knee in January.<\/p>\n<p>During the third quarter of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcsportsbayarea.com\/nba\/golden-state-warriors\/steph-curry-deanthony-melton-kings-win\/1929636\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Golden State&#8217;s 110-105 victory<\/a> over the Sacramento Kings, Moody was shown on the arena&#8217;s jumbotron as he stood off to the side on crutches. Warriors fans clearly were elated to see the fifth-year guard, as he received a standing ovation.<\/p>\n<p>In one of the more freakish injuries in recent memory, Moody went to dunk the ball with no one around him after a steal, and his legs seemingly gave out on him upon takeoff. He ended up having to be stretched off the floor in a game that marked his return from a previous wrist injury.<\/p>\n<p>Before he went down with his injury, Moody was having the best season of his career.
