The Washington Wizards’ front office has made it crystal clear that when it comes to making moves, they’re not afraid to pull the trigger if they believe it will get them one step closer to competing in the Eastern Conference.<\/p>\n
After a flurry of in-season moves, headlined by the blockbuster additions of Trae Young and Anthony Davis ahead of the NBA trade deadline, it’s become obvious that Washington has their sights set on next season as a realistic goal to contend in the East.<\/p>\n
With that being said, there’s an overwhelming belief that the Wizards could be looking to make a shift at the top of their roster, with head coach Brian Keefe becoming a candidate for the team to move on from this offseason.<\/p>\n
To make those rumbles even louder, NBA insider Jake Fischer’s recent report about the team’s interest in top coaching candidate Taylor Jenkins only added fuel to the fire.<\/p>\n
