In less than 12 hours, there was a court change at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, and dozens of volunteers laid out hundreds of cartons of eggs across the hardwood.<\/p>\n

It was symbolic of a massive donation of more than 100,000 eggs that will be provided by the Pacers Foundation to the Drive & Dish initiative, launched by Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle nearly three years ago to address food insecurity in Indiana<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Announced earlier this season, Drive & Dish will receive three cases (540 eggs) for every made 3-pointer at Gainbridge Fieldhouse during the 2025\u201326 season. The Pacers Foundation teamed up with Kroger, MPS Egg Farms, and HATCH for Hunger to make it happen.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat you\u2019re seeing behind me is pretty powerful,\u201d said Corey Wilson, SVP of Community Engagement at PS&E. \u201cThese 8,000 egg cartons represent something much bigger, each one helping provide multiple Hoosier families across our state.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2026 This doesn\u2019t happen without their commitment and generosity. And we\u2019re especially thankful to Coach Carlisle, our head coach of the Indiana Pacers, for his support of the Drive & Dish program, whose performance on the court is helping drive this effort off the court for neighbors across the community. This is what it\u2019s all about for us: using the game of basketball to make a difference for our neighbors across Indiana.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Pacers have turned \u201cBoom Baby\u201d into a meaningful way to give back to the local community, helping feed more than 8,000 families.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s an honor for us at Kroger to be partners with the Indiana Pacers throughout the year,\u201d said Eric Halvorson from Kroger. \u201cBut that connection deepened throughout the course of this egg donation program because we knew there was a need to be addressed, and the Drive & Dish program was a perfect way to put it together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Carlisle signed a carton of eggs for each of initiative\u2019s partners.<\/p>\n
