Prime Video\u2019s exclusive NBA live-stream of Oklahoma City Thunders\u2019 132 \u2013 89 win over the Los Angeles Lakers on April 2 generated 1.54 million viewers across 1 million U.S. households, according to new weekly Nielsen data through April 5. It was the 15th most-watched sports event of the week, and the only exclusive to direct-to-consumer.<\/p>\n

Prime Video has averaged 1.06 million viewers across its exclusive 44 games in the first season of the streamer\u2019s new media distribution deal with the NBA, which includes ESPN, NBC and Peacock.<\/p>\n

Prime Video\u2019s NBA viewers are reportedly younger with a median age of 46.9, nearly nine years younger than linear TV counterparts (55.3).<\/p>\n

The previous New York Knicks vs. San Antonio Spurs Emirates NBA Cup Final remains Prime Video\u2019s most-watched game of the season to date with 3.1 million viewers.<\/p>\n
