{"id":706205,"date":"2026-04-09T00:44:50","date_gmt":"2026-04-09T00:44:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/706205\/"},"modified":"2026-04-09T00:44:50","modified_gmt":"2026-04-09T00:44:50","slug":"cade-cunningham-returns-to-pistons-lineup-against-milwaukee-bucks-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/706205\/","title":{"rendered":"Cade Cunningham returns to Pistons lineup against Milwaukee Bucks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>DETROIT (AP) \u2014 Detroit Pistons guard <a class=\"Link AnClick-LinkEnhancement\" data-gtm-enhancement-style=\"LinkEnhancementA\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/pistons-cade-cunningham-hurt-2b35e05fda09accba2ba1370ba98baaa\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Cade Cunningham<\/a> is expected to return to the lineup on Wednesday against the Milwaukee Bucks.<\/p>\n<p>Cunningham has been <a class=\"Link AnClick-LinkEnhancement\" data-gtm-enhancement-style=\"LinkEnhancementA\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/pistons-cade-cunningham-hurt-b3902c010af974a3a9f0693fc33f52a7\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">sidelined since March 19<\/a> after sustaining a collapsed lung in a win over the Washington Wizards. <\/p>\n<p>Cunningham is averaging 24.5 points, 9.9 assists and 5.6 rebounds in 61 games this season. <\/p>\n<p>During his absence, he became one of the faces of the controversy over the NBA\u2019s rule requiring players to play 65 games to be <a class=\"Link AnClick-LinkEnhancement\" data-gtm-enhancement-style=\"LinkEnhancementA\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/nba-awards-5d2f99c80f3b94799316dab942f752aa\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">eligible for seasonal awards<\/a>. He is considered a very strong candidate for All-NBA First Team honors, but he will only reach 64 games even if he plays in Detroit\u2019s three remaining games.<\/p>\n<p>The Pistons (57-22) have clinched the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference.
