Season one with the Denver Nuggets<\/a> is going great for the 13-year NBA veteran, Tim Hardaway Jr.<\/p>\n

As the Nuggets laid a beatdown on the undermanned Memphis Grizzlies<\/a> on Wednesday, April 8, Hardaway came off the bench and served up 13 points in 19 minutes of action.<\/p>\n

Amid the victory, Hardaway put up eight threes and made three of them. In total, he has 221 on the year, surpassing the former Nuggets forward, Michael Porter Jr.<\/p>\n

With the second-most three-pointers in a season in Denver Nuggets history, Hardaway is now chasing just one player. His current teammate, Jamal Murray, currently has the award and is running up the score with 245 threes during the 2025-2026 run.<\/p>\n

Tim Hardaway Jr. Is Having A Successful Run In Denver\"Clint<\/p>\n

GettyTim Hardaway Jr. during his stint with the Dallas Mavericks<\/a>. Since then, Hardaway has had runs with the Detroit Pistons<\/a> and the Denver Nuggets. The veteran guard signed with the Nuggets during the 2025 NBA Free Agency period.<\/p>\n

The Nuggets want to see Hardaway back in the Sixth Man of the Year conversation.<\/p>\n

During the 2024-2024 NBA season, Hardaway was top 10 for the award, while he was in the midst of his sixth season on the Dallas Mavericks.<\/p>\n

Last year, Hardaway was traded to the Detroit Pistons. The veteran sharpshooter was bumped to the starting lineup. He played in 77 games with the Pistons\u2019 starting five, averaging 11.0 points, while shooting 36.8% from three.<\/p>\n

It was a good year, but could be seen as a down year, compared to Hardaway\u2019s Denver run.<\/p>\n

Leading up to Wednesday\u2019s action against the Grizzlies, Hardaway appeared in 78 games for the Nuggets. He is shooting 44.8% from the field and knocking down 40.9% of his threes on 6.8 attempts per game.<\/p>\n

Hardaway is producing 13.5 points per game, along with 2.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists.<\/p>\n

With Wednesday\u2019s win, the Nuggets have advanced to 52-28 on the season. They are on a league-leading 10-game winning streak.<\/p>\n

The Nuggets are in the Western Conference\u2019s third seed, holding a 1.5-game lead over the struggling Lakers<\/a>. As long as the Nuggets can keep the ball rolling, they will enter the NBA Playoffs with a matchup against the sixth seed. Currently, that would be a first-round series with the Minnesota Timberwolves<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s playoff run will mark the seventh for Hardaway. In the postseason, he has posted averages of 9.5 points while shooting 32.8% from three.<\/p>\n
