CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS<\/a>) \u2014 It\u2019s going to be a warm and dry weekend across the region, and there is no shortage of activities to get you outside across the Queen City. From festivals to home games for Charlotte FC and the Hornets \u2014 there\u2019s something for everybody!<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s what\u2019s happening this weekend:<\/p>\n

Charlotte SHOUT! Festival<\/p>\n

The beloved annual art and culture festival in Charlotte continues in Uptown. Charlotte SHOUT! brings the city\u2019s best art, music, and food together for 17 days of events and attractions.<\/p>\n

University City Wine Fest<\/p>\n

Returning for its 10th year, the University City Partners are bringing back the beloved Wine Fest. The weekend will start with a Royal Wine Dinner on April 9th and a Wine on the Water experience on April 10th.<\/p>\n

Royal Wine Dinner is from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at\u00a0Sol\u2019 Delish<\/a>. Wine on the Water on April 10 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. offers guests a one-of-a-kind date night made easy. The wines provided are brut, pinot grigio, brut ros\u00e9, and a red blend. There will be two times available for booking: 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets cover two people and cost $45.<\/p>\n

The Wine Fest on April 11 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. ET:\u00a0Attendees are invited to savor over 100 wines from North Carolina\u2019s top wineries and vendors, as well as a curated selection of craft brews from the Queen City\u2019s favorite breweries. Cocktails will also be available.<\/p>\n

FRIDAY, APRIL 10<\/p>\n

Matthews Fullwood Amp\u2019d Concert Series<\/p>\n

The Town of Matthews indoor entertainment series continues with a night of cowboy boots and classic country hits. Friday night\u2019s entertainment includes a tribute to George Strait with the tribute band, Carolina Troubadours. All concerts begin at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

General Admission is $15 per person. Light concessions will be available for purchase.\u00a0Tickets can be found here.<\/a><\/p>\n

Hornets Last Home Game<\/p>\n

The day has come \u2013 the Hornets\u2019 final home game of the regular season. And to top it off, they will be facing off against the top team in the East, the Detroit Pistons.<\/p>\n

Charlotte Knights Host Memphis Redbirds<\/p>\n

If you haven\u2019t taken yourself out to the ballgame, now would be a great time. The Knights have been facing off against the Redbirds all week. \u2018Friday Knight Fireworks\u2019 will happen following the game, so stick around! The game starts at 7:04 p.m. Friday, 6:05 p.m. Saturday and 1:05 p.m. Sunday for \u2018Hits for Hope Day.\u2019<\/p>\n

SATURDAY, APRIL 11<\/p>\n

Run Kannapolis Series: Robert Tucker 5K<\/p>\n

The 2026 Run Kannapolis 5K Series continues this weekend with the Robert Tucker 5K, hosted by Shoe Show, Inc and Half Moon Outfitters, LLC. The run kicks off at 8 a.m. Each run is held in Kannapolis, and most runs include a one-mile fun run. Proceeds from the run series benefit area non-profits. Thrift and Vintage Pop-up at Historic Rosedale<\/p>\n

The Historic Rosedale is hosting its first-ever thrift and vintage pop-up. The event will be held under the covered pavilion. Vendors will offer a curated selection of vintage items and pre-loved pieces. The pop-up is free to enter and runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.<\/p>\n

Charlotte FC Hosts Nashville<\/p>\n
