SALT LAKE CITY \u2013 The Utah Jazz snapped their 10-game losing streak with a 147-101 win over the Memphis Grizzlies.<\/p>\n
Both Jon Konchar (11 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists) and Bez Mbeng (27 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists) recorded triple-doubles, becoming the first teammates in NBA history to achieve the feat in the same game while coming off the bench.<\/p>\n
Blake Hinson led all scorers with a career-high 30 points.<\/p>\n
Utah Jazz make NBA history in blowout win over Memphis Grizzlies<\/a><\/p>\n What did Friday\u2019s results mean for the lottery?<\/p>\n The Jazz got more clarity on the upcoming NBA draft lottery after Friday\u2019s slate of games.<\/p>\n Between the Jazz\u2019s win and the Nets\u2019 blowout loss to the\u00a0 Milwaukee Bucks, Utah can no longer catch Brooklyn in the lottery standings.<\/p>\n The Nets are sitting on 20 wins with just one game left to play, and regardless of what happens in Sunday\u2019s games, they can\u2019t catch up to the Jazz\u2019s 22-win total.<\/p>\n That means at best, the Jazz can finish with the fourth-best lottery odds after the weekend.<\/p>\n That outcome remained a possibility in part due to the Sacramento Kings\u2019 win at home over the Golden State Warriors.<\/p>\n With their win, the Kings remain tied with the Jazz in the standings at 22-59.<\/p>\n What\u2019s at stake in Sunday\u2019s games?<\/p>\n With the Jazz and Kings knotted up in the standings, Sunday\u2019s regular-season finales could have a significant impact on the draft lottery.<\/p>\n If the Jazz lose to the Los Angeles Lakers, and the Kings beat the Portland Trail Blazers, Utah would be locked into the league\u2019s fourth-worst record, and most importantly, couldn\u2019t fall past eight in the draft lottery.<\/p>\n If that happens, the Jazz would be guaranteed to hold onto their top-eight protected draft pick.<\/p>\n If the Jazz win, and the Kings lose, the Jazz will have the fifth-best lottery odds, which includes a 0.6 percent chance of dropping to the ninth pick in the draft, which would then belong to the Oklahoma City Thunder.<\/p>\n The @SacramentoKings<\/a> beat the @warriors<\/a>, meaning they have the same 22-59 record as the @utahjazz<\/a> entering Sunday\u2019s season finale.<\/p>\n Kings will play the Trail Blazers while the Jazz travel to LA to play the Lakers.<\/p>\n \u2014 Ben Anderson (@BensHoops) April 11, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n If both teams finish the season with identical records, the NBA will hold a tiebreaker drawing to decide who has the higher pick in the event neither team moves up in the lottery.<\/p>\n If the Jazz were to win that tiebreaker, they would be guaranteed to hold onto their first-round pick. If they were to lose, they would retain a 0.6 percent chance of losing it.<\/p>\n The draft tiebreakers traditionally occur within a week of the end of the regular season.<\/p>\n The Jazz will face a Lakers team that could move into the third seed in the West with a win, combined with a Denver Nuggets loss to the San Antonio Spurs.<\/p>\n The Kings will travel to face the Portland Trail Blazers, who need a win to stay in the top half of the play-in tournament bracket.<\/p>\n Next Utah Jazz Broadcast<\/p>\n The Jazz will play their final game of the season on the road against the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. MST.
