The team went 19-63 in his absence. On top of the Achilles problem, Haliburton was diagnosed with shingles in late February. Shingles is a painful rash caused by the reactivation of the same virus that causes chickenpox.<\/p>\n<p>In front of reporters on Monday, Haliburton opened up about the difficulties shingles has caused.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would tell anybody over 50 years old to get the shot first of all. This has sucked. My Dad had it in the Finals on his stomach. A lot of people get it there, but mine has been on my face,\u201d said Haliburton.<\/p>\n<p>He says he wasn\u2019t itchy initially, but then the itching started after a couple of weeks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOnce the rash went away, the itching came and it\u2019s been miserable,\u201d said Haliburton.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\tLove WIBC 93.1 FM? See our <a href=\"https:\/\/urban1.com\/privacy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">privacy policy<\/a>.\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>Haliburton says he\u2019s been taking \u201cunbelievable amounts of medication and it hasn\u2019t worked.\u201d It\u2019s also caused him to gain weight.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s been a topic of conversation on social media and stuff, but what can you do?,\u201d said Haliburton.<\/p>\n<p>As for what Haliburton has been doing, he\u2019s been back to playing 5-on-5 and being more active on the court. That\u2019s something he\u2019s been longing for while going through the rehabilitation process.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m doing everything without limitations. Our interns have been amazing in helping push me. I\u2019m doing everything,\u201d said Haliburton.<\/p>\n<p>He also says he doesn\u2019t think about the Achilles anymore.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not really all that concerned. People are asking me \u2018are you going right anymore than you should?\u2019 and I was like, \u2018look I don\u2019t go left anyways,\u201d said Haliburton, which made the reporters laugh.<\/p>\n<p>The team has been looking forward to moving on to next season.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEverybody has got to take the summer and do the right things all summer, so their bodies can last for 100+ games next year,\u201d said Haliburton. <\/p>\n<p>The Pacers 19-63 record in 2025-26 was their worst overall record in franchise history.
