Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche fans can enjoy playoff games at Ball Arena’s new fan zones featuring live broadcasts, DJs and team mascot appearances.<\/p>\n
DENVER \u2014 Fans looking to cheer on the\u00a0Denver Nuggets<\/a> or Colorado Avalanche<\/a> in the playoffs will have a new outdoor viewing option this postseason.<\/p>\n Ball Arena plans to close Chopper Circle between 9th and 11th streets during all Nuggets and Avalanche home playoff games to make room for expanded fans zones and a live broadcast viewing area.<\/p>\n The setup will include a 20-foot video board showing live game broadcasts, along with DJs, food trucks, beer and hard seltzer carts, giveaways and appearances by team mascots and dance teams.<\/p>\n Called Base Camp 5280 (for Nuggets games) and Avs Alley (for Avalanche games), the space will open two hours before each announced home playoff game. General admission access is free for Round 1 and Round 2 of the playoffs while space allows, but requires a digital pass for entry.\u00a0<\/p>\n Game tickets are not required to get a pass.<\/p>\n For Game 1 of the Nuggets-Timberwolves series on Saturday afternoon, Base Camp 5280 will open at 11:30 a.m. ahead of the 1:30 p.m. tipoff.
