FOLLOW OHIO MEN’S BASKETBALL:\u00a0Facebook<\/a>\u00a0|\u00a0Twitter<\/a>\u00a0|\u00a0Instagram<\/a><\/p>\n ATHENS, Ohio\u00a0\u2013 The Ohio men’s basketball team has added Australian guard\u00a0Ch\u00e9\u00a0Brogan to the roster for the 2026-27 season, head coach Jeff Boals<\/a> announced today (April 15).\u00a0<\/p>\n “Ch\u00e9 is a tough, talented, competitive player that comes from a basketball family,” Boals said. “He will add playmaking and toughness to our roster. He has been productive every level he has played.”<\/p>\n Brogan, a 6-5 guard from Melbourne, Australia played last season at the Centre of Excellence (Aus) where he averaged 13.4 points, 3.2 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game.\u00a0<\/p>\n In the 2025 FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup, Brogan played in seven games, averaging 8.3 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game.\u00a0<\/p>\n Prior to his two seasons at the Centre of Excellence, Brogan attended Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, Calif.\u00a0<\/p>\n Brogan is the son of Basketball Australia Hall of Famer, two-time Olympic medalist and former WNBA player Michelle Brogan and nephew of Adelaide 36ers NBL Championship-winner Dean Brogan.\u00a0<\/p>\n #OUohyeah
