You know, speaking of AD, now that he’s on the Wizards, this report just came out yesterday where it said that, Davis, quote, “reiterated on Monday that he wants to have an in-depth conversation with the Wizards’ front office over the next few months,” uh- Oh, yeah “to learn whether team officials have a concrete plan to, to compete for a championship next season or during the ’27, ’28 season.”<\/p>\n

So when, when a player wants to sit down with, with ownership that way, the front office that way, what are those conversations typically like?<\/p>\n

And, and, and do you think this is laying the groundwork for him wanting to go somewhere else?<\/p>\n

Well, it’s, it’s He’s in a very pivotal position in his career, you know.<\/p>\n

He’s been plagued with some injuries.<\/p>\n

he’s been on a few different teams the last couple years, so he wants to be in a position to where, you know, he can win.<\/p>\n

And can Washington win?<\/p>\n

That is, that’s a answer that we I don’t really wanna say nothing about Washington bad but, you know, from their track history, you know, in order for them to win, everyone’s gonna have to be healthy.<\/p>\n

And, it starts with AD.<\/p>\n

If AD is healthy, everybody else will fall in line.<\/p>\n

But I just hope the best for him, man, and a wonderful teammate, and, just, you know, wish, wish their team well, man.<\/p>\n

It’s just a tough situation he’s in being in Washington.<\/p>\n

You think he’s gonna play in Washington?<\/p>\n

No.<\/p>\n

No.<\/p>\n

I mean, I, I wanna be optimistic and say yes, but, you know, I just think he, he’s like, “Man, what am I doing here?<\/p>\n

You got all these young guys.<\/p>\n

I You know, I played in all these different places.<\/p>\n

I wanna win now,” you know.<\/p>\n

He just went from LA to Dallas to the Washington Wizards, and there’s nothing wrong with being in Washington, DC.<\/p>\n

I think it’s a beautiful place.<\/p>\n

but each organization is different, and he probably just wants to be in the You know, he’s, he’s getting older in his career and at this point it’s like, “Man, I don’t wanna waste time anymore.”<\/p>\n

Time is the most valuable thing, especially as you get older in this league.<\/p>\n
