He received his undergraduate, MBA, and law degrees from the University of Iowa.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m constantly curious about how technology, data and analytics can create an edge \u2014 whether that\u2019s improving decision-making, optimizing performance or uncovering insights others might overlook,\u201d he said in the IBJ feature.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to Anderson, the Pacers have six others working in data and analytics: Preston Klaus, Colin Barrett, Lauren James, Yashwant Kumar, Hersh Gupta, and Grant Cottingham. Together, the group supports the front office and coaching staff in identifying edges wherever possible.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSpencer Anderson for fucking president,\u201d Carlisle said back in Jan. 2022 after success with the undersized Terry Taylor, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fieldhousefiles.com\/p\/1on1-with-terry-taylor-after-contract-guarantee\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">who went undrafted out of Austin Peay<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSpencer identified him coming out of college as a guy that had very favorable analytic data and we brought him in for a workout.
