The Chicago Bulls have been known to make some questionable decisions, and if Kawhi Leonard ends up hitting the trade market, he could be their latest. Chicago will have money to spend and draft capital to trade, and if the new front office doesn\u2019t learn from the old one\u2019s mistakes, there could be a new era of Bulls disasters on the horizon.<\/p>\n

Leonard\u2019s LA Clippers were eliminated from the Play-In Tournament<\/a> by Stephen Curry\u2019s 35-point master class. The Golden State Warriors will now take on the Phoenix Suns with a playoff berth on the line, and the Clippers will head into the summer with plenty of questions to answer.<\/p>\n

And should Chicago decide to (for some reason) make a big move, Leonard could be the organization\u2019s next questionable decision.<\/p>\n

Bulls trading for Kawhi Leonard would be the most Bulls move possible<\/p>\n

The last time the Bulls welcomed in a new regime, it was Arturas Karnisovas. He took over in Chicago in 2020, and by 2021, the Bulls were making some crazy moves in hopes of being competitive.<\/p>\n

Karnisovas added DeMar DeRozan, Lonzo Ball, Nikola Vucevic, and Alex Caruso all in quick succession, trying to push the team\u2019s chips onto the table in hopes of winning.<\/p>\n

And though there was a fleeting moment in time when that core worked well together, it quickly fell apart, and to make matters worse, Chicago didn\u2019t really get much back in return when they traded those guys away.<\/p>\n

Now, Chicago is facing a new era with new management leading the way. But what if the new management gets greedy, too? What if they want to compete right away, just like the old guard did?<\/p>\n

Well, then Leonard could be sitting right there waiting for the Bulls to make a move. It would be the most \u2018Bulls\u2019 move possible this summer (in the worst way possible).<\/p>\n

It seems highly unlikely that Chicago would hire a GM who would want to immediately make the same mistake that the old guy did. But again, wouldn\u2019t that just be the most Chicago thing to possibly do?<\/p>\n

Leonard to the Bulls makes no sense. Truly. None at all. But it\u2019s because of the fact that the move makes no sense that it\u2019s even in the realm of possibilities for the Bulls organization.<\/p>\n

The team that hasn\u2019t made sense for years.<\/p>\n

Trading for Leonard would be a terrible mistake, but a mistake that would fit the Bulls\u2019 persona to a tee. Should Leonard hit the trade market this summer, someone needs to take away Chicago\u2019s cell phones.<\/p>\n
