SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4<\/a>) \u2014\u00a0The offseason has arrived for the Jazz, which means decisions are coming, including whether to bring back veterans Kevin Love and Jusuf Nurki\u0107.<\/p>\n

If it were up to them, they\u2019d both be staying in Utah.<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, I think Nurk and I have spoken about it at length, just how much we\u2019ve enjoyed our time here,\u201d said Love.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt would be so easy to come back, and I want to come back,\u201d said Nurki\u0107. \u201cI love everything about the state and the team.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve had a truly great experience here. And that has remained throughout the course of this year,\u201d said Love.<\/p>\n

With a young roster, both brought a veteran presence to the locker room, especially 18-year veteran Kevin Love, who has embraced that mentor role and wants to keep it going.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know we\u2019ve been very vocal about it,\u201d said Love. \u201cWe would be back here in an instant, just trying to, you know, be great vets and help guys like Ace again who\u2019s 19. Guys in there, you know, first contracts.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m a big fan of those two guys. I think what they did for our group this year, it can\u2019t be measured,\u201d said Jazz head coach Will Hardy.<\/p>\n

But this is the NBA, and wanting to bring guys back is only part of the equation.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe decisions aren\u2019t just as simple as like, we love Kevin and we love Nurk,\u201d said Hardy. \u201cIf it was that simple, man, it would be a lot easier to deal with the ebbs and flows of roster movement in this league.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFree agency is a tricky thing and you want to be a part of it,\u201d said Nurki\u0107. \u201cI can\u2019t really speak too much about it. We\u2019ll see how my agent handles that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to be back. That\u2019s kind of the, I guess, the main goal. But, you know, like, you can\u2019t really promise anything these days,\u201d said Nurki\u0107.<\/p>\n

The interest is there on both sides. Now it\u2019s about whether the business side matches the fit.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know what the future holds for me,\u201d said Love. \u201cBut I would hope that all the powers that be would look at me as a vet that they would think to bring in. I know I have a lot to give.\u201d<\/p>\n
