There’s belief among executives that some teams have Caleb Wilson ahead of Cam Boozer.<\/p>\n

I think it’s even a step further than that.<\/p>\n

There are teams around the league that have Caleb Wilson ranked ahead of both Cam Boozer and Darren Peterson.<\/p>\n

There are teams that would take Caleb Wilson second in the draft behind AJ Dibonsa.<\/p>\n

And this is all gonna depend on what the lottery shakes out as, who ends up with the first, second, third, and fourth picks.<\/p>\n

But there is a scenario where we see Wilson go second behind AJ, ahead of Peterson, ahead of Boozer.<\/p>\n

And so that’s just a scenario to keep in mind when it comes to the draft right now.<\/p>\n

It’s not just Wilson versus Boozer.<\/p>\n

It’s also Wilson versus Peterson.<\/p>\n

I don’t think there’s a world in which Wilson goes first, but the teams that are high on Wilson, like you should hear the way they talk about him.<\/p>\n

They look at his games against Kansas earlier in the year, against Duke later in the year, where he was hitting jumpers off the dribble, driving the length of the court at six foot 10, while making, making a significant impact on the defensive end of the floor.<\/p>\n

There are people who view him as like a tough guy version of Evan Mobley.<\/p>\n

Like Evan Mobley, who wins the Defensive Player of the Year, but has his shortcomings on offense, very inconsistent.<\/p>\n

There are people who view Caleb Wilson as like, “Oh, what if, what if Mobley had toughness to him?<\/p>\n

What if Mobley reached his peak offensively?”<\/p>\n

And so when you talk about a, a guy who’s six foot 10, perhaps the best athlete in the draft, has a high floor as a guy who is a great finisher around the basket, a lob guy, and a great impactful defender, expect that in the weeks to come, in the months to come, that Wilson is gonna be viewed as on the same tier as Peterson, as Boozer.<\/p>\n
