Earlier this week, the Miami Heat<\/a> played the Charlotte Hornets<\/a> (in North Carolina) for the play-in tournament.<\/p>\n

The Heat lost (in overtime) by a score of 127-126.<\/p>\n

Despite the season-ending loss, Tyler Herro<\/a> finished with 23 points, three rebounds and six assists while shooting 7\/18 from the field and 3\/6 from three-point range in 34 minutes of playing time.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, the Heat held exit interviews.<\/p>\n

That said, Herro did not speak to the media.<\/p>\n

Ira Winderman of Sun Sentinel wrote:<\/a> \u201cTyler Herro and Nikola Jovic<\/a> among those declining Heat exit interviews today at season-ending media session.\u201d<\/p>\n

Herro has now played seven seasons in the NBA<\/a> (all with Miami).<\/p>\n

He finished this year with averages of 20.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.1 assists per contest while shooting 48.0% from the field and 37.8% from three-point range in 33 games.<\/p>\n

Looking At Miami<\/p>\n

The Heat have made the NBA Finals twice since the 2020 season.<\/p>\n

That said, they have had two tough finishes since trading Jimmy Butler to the Golden State Warriors<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In 2025, the Heat got swept by the Cleveland Cavaliers<\/a> in the first round of the NBA playoffs.<\/p>\n

There is no question they will be one of the most intriguing teams to watch this summer.<\/p>\n
