Milwaukee Bucks<\/a> center Myles Turner<\/a> says there’s a lot of truth to ESPN Shams Charania<\/a>‘s report on former head coach Doc Rivers<\/a>, but claims he wasn’t the mole. After Shams was petty in his clap back at Rivers<\/a>, Turner claims he doesn’t know which Bucks player told Charania about Doc expressing his disappointment in his veterans, telling players to look him up if they don’t believe in his legacy as a head coach.<\/p>\n

Turner confirmed<\/a> that Rivers’ address to the Bucks veterans, which Charania reported, is true; he said, per Game Recognize Game w\/Stewie & Myles.<\/p>\n

\u201cListen, man, I don\u2019t know who Shams\u2019 source was. I\u2019ll come out and say it right now: I was not the snitch. I was not the mole. I don\u2019t know who was, but a lot of stuff in that ESPN article came out very accurate,\u201d Turner said. \u201cI think someone had to have had a tape recording at this point, because a lot of what was said was actually to a T. Yeah, we had a really rough game in Chicago.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe had like a 20-point lead and pissed it away in the fourth quarter, which is a really bad point in the season for us. We were in a very must-win mode, and we had a game against Boston the next day. Doc kind of came in and was like, \u2018Listen, I heard y\u2019all been talking shit, so let me talk my shit too. I\u2019ve taken teams that are less talented than this to the playoffs,\u2019 and whatnot. He basically said, \u2018I thought this was the team to do that.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Veteran center Myles Turner joined the Bucks hoping to compete<\/a> for a championship. Coming off his first Finals appearance with the Pacers last season, Turner discussed the difficulties he faced<\/a> throughout 2025-26, he said, per The Athletic’s Eric Nehm.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was definitely a rude awakening,\u201d Turner said. \u201cIt was difficult throughout the year, obviously, with all the injuries and whatnot. But one thing I was really encouraged by was, honestly, the spirit of all of the guys, man.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like, especially on the players\u2019 side, guys had the right approach, and that\u2019s made it more easy to go about the days for myself. It\u2019s obviously been a rough adjustment, but I think that kind of just comes with anything new.\u201d<\/p>\n
