On Friday, the band announced its show will now be about 60 miles away, at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, N.J.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"zxx\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/YON6QY8Ekj\" rel=\"nofollow\">pic.twitter.com\/YON6QY8Ekj<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Florence + the Machine (@florencemachine) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/florencemachine\/status\/2045218012219707512?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">April 17, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Earlier in the week, Florence + The Machine\u2019s \u201cEverybody Scream Tour\u201d was forced to <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/florencemachine\/status\/2043735249671090227\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">reschedule an upcoming show<\/a> in Boston from Sunday to Monday because it had been set for the same night as Game 1 of the NBA playoff series between the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers at TD Garden.<\/p>\n<p>Fans of the band who had previously purchased tickets to the Philadelphia show will automatically be issued a refund. Those who had tickets to the original venue\u2019s show can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boardwalkhall.com\/events\/detail\/florence-the-machine\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">purchase tickets<\/a> to the relocated show at 10 a.m. Monday, while the general public sale will open at 10 a.m. Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause,\u201d the band said in a statement posted to social media after the Philadelphia show was moved. \u201cUnfortunately, this decision is beyond our control, and after exploring many alternative scenarios, this became the only workable solution that would allow us to not cancel the show.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Scheduling conflicts can arise due to the last-minute planning of the NHL and NBA playoffs. The Flyers and Penguins weren\u2019t confirmed to play in the first round of the playoffs until Monday night, and the NHL\u2019s full playoff bracket wasn\u2019t locked in until early Friday morning, after the NHL\u2019s final games ended late Thursday night.
