{"id":712872,"date":"2026-04-18T02:10:06","date_gmt":"2026-04-18T02:10:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/712872\/"},"modified":"2026-04-18T02:10:06","modified_gmt":"2026-04-18T02:10:06","slug":"grayson-allen-available-for-suns-warriors-play-in-game","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/712872\/","title":{"rendered":"Grayson Allen available for Suns-Warriors play-in game"},"content":{"rendered":"<\/p>\n<p>Grayson Allen is <a href=\"https:\/\/ak-static.cms.nba.com\/referee\/injury\/Injury-Report_2026-04-17_09_30PM.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">available<\/a>, and Mark Williams has been ruled out for Suns-Warriors on Friday night, with the winner of the play-in matchup in Phoenix earning the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference playoff bracket.<\/p>\n<p>Both players were questionable when the injury report came out on Thursday, and Williams was <a href=\"https:\/\/ak-static.cms.nba.com\/referee\/injury\/Injury-Report_2026-04-17_08_15PM.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">downgraded<\/a> on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>No other Suns players were on Friday\u2019s NBA injury report.<\/p>\n<p>Allen was absent for the Suns\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/arizonasports.com\/nba\/phoenix-suns\/suns-blazers-loss\/3617869\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">loss to the Portland Trail Blazers<\/a> on Tuesday, as the guard is still dealing with a left hamstring injury. He is listed as dealing with a strain rather than what was previously categorized as soreness.<\/p>\n<p>He averaged 3.1 made 3-pointers on 8.9 attempts across 51 regular-season contests, which is volume\/efficiency the Suns may need to advance after only making nine of 25 shots from 3 against Portland.<\/p>\n<p>The veteran guard has averaged a career-best 16.5 points per game.<\/p>\n<p>Williams, on the other hand, started Tuesday and scored four points (2-of-3 shooting) in 22 minutes. He added four rebounds, three blocks and two assists while not turning the ball over.
