The Golden State Warriors<\/a> fell to the Phoenix Suns<\/a> Friday night and were eliminated from playoff contention as a result.<\/p>\n

After a defensive stand against the Los Angeles Clippers<\/a> Wednesday, Draymond Green<\/a> was quiet Friday, posting five points, six assists, two rebounds and five turnovers.<\/p>\n

However, following the game, Green reiterated<\/a> his commitment to the Warriors franchise. \u201cI\u2019m not retiring. Hopefully I\u2019ve done enough to still be here.\u201d<\/p>\n

Green has a player option for the 2026-27 season. That said, Green could be referring to a possible trade, as he was rumored to be shopped around at the February trade deadline.<\/p>\n

Although Green seems intent on staying in Golden State, his involvement in a trade may depend on the future of head coach Steve Kerr.<\/p>\n

Given Golden State’s aging roster, the front office will have plenty of decisions to make ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.<\/p>\n
