The 2026 NBA draft<\/a> will be held June 23-24 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn<\/a>, New York. The NBA draft lottery will be held May 10 and the draft combine is scheduled for May 10-17 in Chicago<\/a>, Illinois.<\/p>\n

Tennessee freshman forward Nate Ament<\/a> is listed as the No. 8 best available player for the NBA draft, according to ESPN<\/a>. AJ Dybantsa (BYU), Darryn Peterson (Kansas), Cameron Boozer<\/a> (Duke<\/a>), Caleb Wilson (North Carolina<\/a>), Keaton Wagler<\/a> (Illinois), Darius Acuff Jr. (Arkansas) and Kingston Flemings (Houston<\/a>) are ranked ahead of Ament for best available players.<\/p>\n

The 6-foot-10, 207-pound freshman is also listed as the No. 4 best available forward behind Dybantsa, Boozer and Wilson.<\/p>\n

Ament appeared in 35 games, including 35 starts, for the Vols during the 2025-26 season. He averaged 16.7 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.<\/p>\n

Ament\u2019s career high for points in a game at Tennessee was 29 against Oklahoma on Feb. 18<\/a>. He also recorded career highs for rebounds (11) versus Vanderbilt on March 13 and assists (five) against Mississippi State on Feb. 11.<\/p>\n
