15 of the best boy’s basketball seniors from the Permian Basin gathered at the OC Sports Center to cap off their careers.<\/p>\n

ODESSA, Texas \u2014 The top high school boy’s basketball seniors clashed at the OC Sports Center Saturday for the Odessa College Second Annual All-Star game.<\/p>\n

15 players from nine schools ranging from Class 2A-6A, including private, competed in the event with the teams led by Permian head coach Stven Flores and former Midland High coach Brad Reese<\/a>. Team Flores defeated Team Reese 74-63 with Midland Christian’s Brody McHugh earning Most Outstanding Player.<\/p>\n

“It’s meant a lot to me,” McHugh said on representing the Mustangs at the All-Star game. “Coach (Chris) Ryburn, (Trent) Langford, and Malik (Brooks), they’ve really poured into me over the years and kind of built me up to who I am today, and I tried to do my best to represent them and the people that came to watch us today.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

Team Flores consisted of McHugh, Permian’s Javariane Beck, Crane’s Adam McGuire and Ivan Moreno, Kermit’s Mario Perez, Pecos’ Mateo Fernandez, and Odessa High’s Da’Vonte Montgomery and Brody Reeves. Team Reese highlighted Permian’s Bra’dyn Anderson, Big Spring’s Jacobi Lozano, McCamey’s Austin Brooks, Midland Christian’s Kohl Bremerman, Monahans’ Jason Munoz and Nicholas Scott, and Odessa High’s David Wade.<\/p>\n

Halftime also featured a three-point contest with Lozano, Fernandez, Wade, Beck, Bremerman, and McHugh. Beck and Bremerman advanced to the finals with Beck taking the competition with 13 made shots to Bremerman’s 10.<\/p>\n
