INDEPENDENCE \u2014\u00a0The Cavaliers<\/a> will again fall one player short of being at full health.<\/p>\n

Cavs<\/a> forward Thomas Bryant<\/a> has been ruled out for Game 2 of the first-round playoff series against the Toronto Raptors<\/a>, according to the official injury report<\/a> update provided by both teams. Bryant also missed Game 1<\/a>, which the Cavs won 126-113<\/a>, with a left calf strain.<\/p>\n

Coach Kenny Atkinson noted that Bryant has been trending in the right direction, but it’s official that he won’t be available for Game 2 in Cleveland<\/a> April 20.<\/p>\n

Atkinson also noted that guard Sam Merrill<\/a> has had a hand situation that doesn’t appear to be a concern, as it’s just something that’s been moderately bothering him for a while. Merrill isn’t on the injury report and is expected to play.<\/p>\n

The Raptors, meanwhile, have listed starting guard Immanuel Quickley<\/a>, who also missed Game 1, as questionable for Game 2 with a hamstring strain.<\/p>\n
