The San Antonio Spurs<\/a> are at home on Sunday night as they host the Portland Trail Blazers<\/a> in Game 1 of the first round of the NBA<\/a> Playoffs.<\/p>\n

San Antonio enters Sunday\u2019s game as the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference after ending the regular season with a 62-20 record following a loss at home to the Denver Nuggets<\/a> last Sunday.<\/p>\n

In Last Sunday\u2019s loss to the Nuggets, De\u2019Aaron Fox led the way for the Spurs as he recorded 24 points, six rebounds and five assists while Keldon Johnson added 18 points and six rebounds of his own off the bench.<\/p>\n

Now San Antonio will try to use home court to their advantage in Game 1 on Sunday as they try to grab a key victory over the Trail Blazers and take a 1-0 series lead.<\/p>\n

On the other side, Portland enters Sunday\u2019s contest as they No. 7 seed in the West after defeating the Phoenix Suns<\/a> on the road in the Play-In Tournament on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

Deni Avdija led the way for the Trail Blazers in Tuesday\u2019s victory as he ended the game with 41 points, seven rebounds and 12 assists while Jrue Holiday recorded 21 points, four rebounds and four assists.<\/p>\n

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Game 1 on Sunday night, both squads may be without one of their key players due to injury.<\/p>\n

Trail Blazers Injury Report<\/p>\n

For the Trail Blazers, they have only one player listed on their injury report for Sunday as they have ruled out guard Damian Lillard<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Portland has ruled out Lillard as he will miss the remainder of the season while recovering from a torn Achilles that he suffered last season.<\/p>\n

Outside of Lillard, they rest of the Trail Blazers\u2019 injury report is clean as they will have their entire core available for Game 1 against the Spurs.<\/p>\n

Spurs Injury Report: Will Victory Wembanyama, Jordan McLaughlin Play?<\/p>\n

On the other side, the Spurs have only one player listed on their injury report as well as they have ruled out guard Jordan McLaughlin.<\/p>\n

San Antonio has ruled out McLaughlin due to a left ankle sprain as he will miss his first game since April 6, though he has not had a major role in the Spurs\u2019 rotation this season.<\/p>\n

The good news for the Spurs is that Victor Wembanyama<\/a> is off their injury report and will play in Game 1 on Sunday after sitting out the final game of the regular season due to a rib injury.<\/p>\n
