OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR<\/a>) \u2014 The Oklahoma City Thunder dominated in Game 1, taking one step closer to defending the title, and Thunder fans showed up for their team, loud and proud.<\/p>\n

Thunder fans showed out at Scissortail Park, local restaurants, and the Paycom Center to support Oklahoma\u2019s team as they took on the Phoenix Suns.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like the chemistry is unmatched with our team, and I feel like everybody is really vibing, so I feel like we can do it again,\u201d said Megan Hanson, a Thunder fan.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe atmosphere is electric, like loud city is loud city for a reason, like it really is one of a kind,\u201d said Dylan Howell, a Thunder fan.<\/p>\n

Sunday marks Game 1 of the NBA playoffs\u2019 first round, and Thunder fans are hopeful about what lies ahead.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe got the MVP, and we\u2019re the number one seed for a reason. So we are feeling good,\u201d said Cameron Ray, a Thunder fan.<\/p>\n

The big game brought in fans from all over, even people from out of state, like Brandon Binno from Michigan.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe had front row seats right on the floor. I mean, it was like electrifying,\u201d said Brandon Binno, a Thunder fan.<\/p>\n

Many Thunder fans say OKC is taking it all the way. Others are saying they\u2019re taking it one game at a time.<\/p>\n

\u201cFeeling good! We\u2019re one of the favorites, first seed coming out, but you can\u2019t be complacent. The teams do a good job, they help each other, they\u2019re young,\u201d said David Mu\u00f1oz, a Thunder fan.<\/p>\n

However, after last year\u2019s championship win, Thunder fans are hoping it\u2019s just the beginning of a repeat.<\/p>\n

\u201cGoing back to back, there\u2019s not a whole lot of teams that do that. This team\u2019s special though, they\u2019re getting better and better every time they play,\u201d said Blake Hunt, a Thunder fan.<\/p>\n

One down, fifteen more to go. The next game will be on Wednesday at 8 pm.<\/p>\n
