{"id":714608,"date":"2026-04-20T13:57:42","date_gmt":"2026-04-20T13:57:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/714608\/"},"modified":"2026-04-20T13:57:42","modified_gmt":"2026-04-20T13:57:42","slug":"utah-jazz-2026-salary-cap-tracker-cap-space-contracts-free-agents","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/714608\/","title":{"rendered":"Utah Jazz 2026 Salary Cap Tracker: Cap Space, Contracts, Free Agents"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"inline-text-0\" class=\"mt-[18px] md:mt-0 mb-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6f\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.si.com\/nba\/jazz\/onsi\/news\/utah-jazz-trending-toward-keeping-jusuf-nurkic\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Utah Jazz<\/a> are rolling into a big offseason before they into what&#8217;s projected to be a wildly different-looking 2026-27 campaign from what they had just seen this past 22-win season.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-1\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6i\">But before that season is able to get underway, the Jazz have some priorities to address in the offseason\u2013\u2013both in terms of constructing their roster and retaining a few key pieces from last year&#8217;s group into next year.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-2\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6l\">That makes their salary cap situation and everything around it important to be aware of in the next few months. Mandatory Credit: Sam Navarro-Imagn Images | Sam Navarro-Imagn Images<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-11\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"7s\">A glimpse of the Jazz&#8217;s contract values for the 2026-27 season, and when they&#8217;re slated to hit free agency from their current deals:<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-12\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"7v\">&#8211; Jaren Jackson Jr.: $49.0M, &#8217;29 PO<br \/>&#8211; Lauri Markkanen: $46.1M, &#8217;29 UFA<br \/>&#8211; Ace Bailey: $9.5M, &#8217;29 RFA<br \/>&#8211; Keyonte George: $6.5M, &#8217;27 RFA<br \/>&#8211; John Konchar: $6.1M, &#8217;27 UFA<br \/>&#8211; Cody Williams: $6.0M, &#8217;28 RFA<br \/>&#8211; Brice Sensabaugh, $4.8M, &#8217;27 RFA<br \/>&#8211; Svi Mykhailiuk: $3.8M*, &#8217;28 UFA<br \/>&#8211; Kyle Filipowski: $3.0M, &#8217;28 RFA<br \/>&#8211; Isaiah Collier: $2.7M, &#8217;28 RFA<br \/>&#8211; Hayden Gray: $2.1M*, &#8217;27 RFA<br \/>&#8211; Bez Mbeng: $2.1M*, &#8217;27 RFA<br \/>&#8211; Blake Hinson (two-way), &#8217;27 RFA<\/p>\n<p>Total: $142.1M<\/p>\n<p>*- non-guaranteed<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-13\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"7y\">The biggest chunk of the Jazz&#8217;s salary leans on their top two veterans, Markkanen and Jackson Jr., each making a combined $95 million next season alone.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-14\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"81\">However, the rest of the roster isn&#8217;t taking up much money. Mandatory Credit: Rob Gray-Imagn Images | Rob Gray-Imagn Images<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-19\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"8o\">A look at who from this season&#8217;s roster is set to hit the free agent market in July:<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-20\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"8r\">&#8211; Kevin Love (UFA)<br \/>&#8211; Jusuf Nurkic (UFA)<br \/>&#8211; Walker Kessler (RFA)<br \/>&#8211; Oscar Tshiebwe (two-way)<br \/>&#8211; Elijah Harkless (two-way)<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-21\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"8u\">The biggest name of note is, of course, the Jazz&#8217;s restricted free agent big man, Walker Kessler, who Utah is bound to hand a big payday, but it remains to be seen how much that contract\u2013\u2013or offer sheet from another team\u2013\u2013will be.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-22\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"8x\">Jusuf Nurkic and Kevin Love have also expressed their desire to return to the roster as they hit free agency.
