The Phoenix Suns might be in the midst of what will prove to be a short series versus the Oklahoma City Thunder, but their play-in victory over the Golden State Warriors remains a talking point.<\/p>\n

Draymond Green and Devin Booker both getting ejected late in that one, although as far as Green as concerned it is all love between the pair.<\/p>\n

Green in Phoenix for one season would be tons of fun<\/p>\n

While the Warriors are likely reaching the end of one of the most successful eras in the NBA history, Green has been nothing but complimentary of the Suns since being eliminated by them.<\/p>\n

Which got us thinking; wouldn’t a single season of 36-year-old Green in The Valley actually be a lot of fun?<\/p>\n

Obviously there is zero talk of this being the case, and you better believe Green is picking up that player option on the final year of his current contract for over $27 million.<\/p>\n

But if the numbers did somehow work or Green opted out to sign on elsewhere for a new experience, then playing alongside Booker and Dillon Brooks would be box office.<\/p>\n

He would likely come off the bench and would form with Brooks one of the nastiest, do whatever it takes to win combos the league has seen in recent years.<\/p>\n

Much like Brooks, Green is also a winner and there is no denying that the Suns could do with as much of that as possible around Booker as they seek to make the most of his prime.<\/p>\n

His addition would also help with the up-and-down nature that bas become the Jalen Green experience in Phoenix as well.<\/p>\n

He did well in beating the Warriors to exorcise his demons against that same opponent<\/a>, but there will always be a streaky nature to the former second overall pick and how he plays offensively.<\/p>\n

The Suns clearly have to ensure they continue building out their roster the right way this offseason, and that will likely involve bringing back both Collin Gillespie and Mark Williams.<\/p>\n

But purely from an entertainment standpoint, and with the Suns not going to be true contenders in the Western Conference next season, this would be so much fun to see.<\/p>\n

Maybe Giannis Antetokounmpo will end up in The Valley and Green will take a minimum deal to join the newest super team in the league. You’re laughing, but stranger things have happened.<\/p>\n
