She can create off the bounce, make plays for her\u00a0teammates\u00a0and\u00a0isn\u2019t\u00a0afraid to take advantage of mismatches by\u00a0posting up\u00a0smaller defenders. That complete offensive skill set makes her incredibly tough to guard. But beyond the skill,\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0her competitive spirit that really separates her. She plays with an edge, with purpose and with a drive that raises the level of everyone around her.\u00a0We\u2019re\u00a0excited about what\u00a0she\u2019ll\u00a0bring to our program and the impact\u00a0she\u2019ll\u00a0have both on and off the floor.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ode played high school basketball at Maple Grove High School in Maple Grove, Minn., where she ended her career as the all-time leader\u00a0in career points with 2,336. In her final season at Maple Grove, she averaged 25 points and six rebounds per game\u00a0and was a McDonald\u2019s All-American nominee.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A four-time all-conference and three-time all-state\u00a0selection, she was ranked No. 33 in the ESPNW HoopGurlz recruiting rankings. In her junior season, she broke the Maple Grove single-season scoring\u00a0record\u00a0averaging 21 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. She also earned all-conference honors in cross country.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>She\u00a0redshirted her\u00a0freshman\u00a0season in 2025-26 at Michigan State.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ode\u00a0joins a 2026-27 Georgia Tech women\u2019s basketball team that is returning four of its\u00a0primary\u00a0starting five from a season ago, the first under Blair. Tech finished with 10 victories inside McCamish Pavilion\u00a0en\u00a0route to a berth in the 2026 WBIT.
