CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) \u2013 The Atlantic Coast Conference has announced its 2025-26 Men\u2019s Basketball All-ACC Academic Team.

\nThe team is comprised of 18 student-athletes, led by Duke\u2019s Maliq Brown, who was named the ACC\u2019s 2026 Defensive Player of the Year and Sixth Man of the Year, becoming the first player to win both awards in the same season.\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\nStanford\u2019s Benny Gealer was selected the 2026 Skip Prosser Award winner as the league\u2019s scholar-athlete of the year before the ACC Tournament and was presented his award prior to the Cardinal\u2019s first game in the event.

\nStanford led all schools with six honorees on the 2025-26 All-ACC Academic Team.
\n\u00a0
\nAcademic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team include a minimum 3.0 grade point average for the previous two semesters and a 3.0 cumulative GPA for one\u2019s academic career, along with being enrolled at the institution for at least one year and classified as an undergraduate student. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team\u2019s athletic contests.
