On Friday night, the Los Angeles Lakers<\/a> played the Houston Rockets<\/a> (in Texas) for Game 3 of their first-round playoff series.<\/p>\n

The Lakers won (in overtime) by a score of 112-108.<\/p>\n

Bronny James<\/a> finished with five points while shooting 2\/2 from the field in nine minutes of playing time.<\/p>\n

He had only played seven total minutes in the first two games.<\/p>\n

Bronny is in his second season playing for the Lakers.<\/p>\n

The former USC guard finished the regular season with averages of 2.9 points and 1.2 assists per contest while shooting 40.9% from the field and 38.6% from three-point range in 42 games.<\/p>\n

The Lakers now have a commanding 3-0 lead over the Rockets with Game 4 on Sunday in Houston.<\/p>\n

If the Lakers lost on Sunday, the teams will head back to Los Angeles for Game 5 on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
