The Sacramento Kings announced Wednesday it’s partnering with the Golden State Warriors to host the eighth annual California Classic. The event will take place at two venues, at Sacramento’s Golden 1 Center and San Francisco’s Chase Center, and each site will feature a specific set of teams across three days of action. Games in Sacramento will be played from July 4 to 6 while Chase Center will hold its set of games on July 3, 5 and 6. California Classic games at Golden 1 Center will feature the Kings, Brooklyn Nets, Milwaukee Bucks and Golden State Warriors. The Chase Center will host the Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs. The Warriors are the only team to play at each location. The Kings will play their Northern California rival at Golden 1 Center on July 5. The entire event will feature a total of six games and will have modified Summer League rules, including 10-minute quarters. Summer League games are typically a showcase for rookies just drafted in the NBA, second-year players and guys on G-League rosters. Tickets go on sale to the public on April 30. Fans will be able to buy passes for all three days at Golden 1 Center.
