On today\u2019s episode of \u201cNo One Asked,\u201d Akademiks<\/a> gave his two cents on Megan Thee Stallion<\/a>\u2019s shocking public split<\/a> from Dallas Mavericks player Klay Thompson<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Taking to X in the wake of the announcement on Saturday (April 25), Akademiks expectedly took to Thompson\u2019s defense, arguing that being a champion NBA player comes first.<\/p>\n

\u201cShordy said monogamy\u2026 man cut it out,\u201d Akademiks wrote. \u201cKlay ain\u2019t win 4 rings for nothing! She thought she was the 5th ring\u2026 aww hell naw.. who u think u r\u2026 Ayesha [Curry]?\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s worth noting that Akademiks doesn\u2019t have much respect for Steph Curry\u2019s wife, Ayesha, either, launching misogynistic rants toward her and encouraging the Warriors player to cheat on his longtime wife<\/a>. \u201cHe should be having her stressed out,\u201d the streamer said, arguing that it would prevent her from oversharing about their marriage.<\/p>\n

In a bombshell Instagram Story posted by Megan on Saturday afternoon, the rapper accused Thompson of cheating among other things.<\/p>\n

\u201cCheating, had me around your whole family playing house, got \u2018cold feet\u2019,\u201d Megan wrote. \u201cHolding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don\u2019t know if you can be \u2018monogamous????\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

In a statement to Complex via her rep, she said: \u201cI\u2019ve made the decision to end my relationship with Klay. Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there\u2019s no real path forward. I\u2019m taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity.\u201d<\/p>\n

Megan and Thompson went public with their relationship last July and appeared to be going strong. The rapper even suggested she\u2019s ready to settle down<\/a> with the athlete, telling recently engaged Olympians Brittany Bowe and Hilary Knight that she\u2019s \u201cmanifesting my engagement too!\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cMy Man\u201d rapper even surprised Thompson by booking Bone-Thugs-N-Harmony<\/a> to perform at his 36th birthday party<\/a>.<\/p>\n
