Jalen Suggs<\/a> might be on the trade radar if the Orlando Magic<\/a> look to make moves to elevate their status as serious playoff contenders.<\/p>\n

Suggs completed the fifth season of his NBA career with the Magic, standing out as a talented two-way guard. He even landed on the All-Defensive team during the 2023-24 campaign.<\/p>\n

However, Suggs struggled throughout the 2026 playoffs. He couldn\u2019t get his shot going as Orlando blew a 3-1 series lead to the Detroit Pistons<\/a> in the first round. This ended up costing head coach Jamahl Mosley his job, presenting a new chapter for the franchise.<\/p>\n

NBA insider Brett Siegel appeared on a May 7 episode of the Clutch Scoops show with Tomer Azarly. They discussed the direction of the Magic organization as Siegel mentioned that Suggs is a player<\/a> to keep an eye throughout the offseason.<\/p>\n

What lies ahead for Jalen Suggs, Magic<\/p>\n

Jalen Suggs has been a key piece in the Magic rotation, helping them reach the playoffs for three consecutive years. However, they haven\u2019t gotten out of the first round, presenting a need for change.<\/p>\n

Suggs averaged 13.8 points, 5.5 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game throughout 57 appearances. However, he regressed in the playoffs after producing 11.1 points, 4.1 assists and four rebounds. He had woeful shooting splits of 29.9% from the field, including 24.1% from beyond the arc.<\/p>\n

Orlando finished with a 45-37 record, taking the eighth seed in the playoffs. Despite leading 3-1, they collapsed offensively in the last three games to see their campaign come to an end.<\/p>\n
