{"id":730113,"date":"2026-05-09T21:57:44","date_gmt":"2026-05-09T21:57:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/730113\/"},"modified":"2026-05-09T21:57:44","modified_gmt":"2026-05-09T21:57:44","slug":"pacers-nembhard-siakam-named-grand-marshals-of-500-festival-parade-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/730113\/","title":{"rendered":"Pacers&#8217; Nembhard, Siakam Named Grand Marshals of 500 Festival Parade"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"963\" height=\"683\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/1778363864_894_17781763413886-e1778176395919.jpg\" alt=\"Indiana Pacers v San Antonio Spurs\" class=\"wp-image-886224\"  \/>Source: Dean Mouhtaropoulos \/ Getty<\/p>\n<p>INDIANAPOLIS \u2014 Indiana Pacers players Andrew Nembhard and Pascal Siakam will serve as Grand Marshals for the 2026 Lucas Oil 500 Festival Parade in Indianapolis.<\/p>\n<p>The theme of this year\u2019s parade, which is celebrating its 70th year in Indianapolis, is \u201cRacing Through History.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dave Neff, president and CEO of the 500 Festival, said it was an easy decision for them to choose Siakam and Nembhard to lead the parade, with them being fan favorites in the Hoosier state.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPascal and Andrew embody the passion, determination, and teamwork that define both the Indiana Pacers and our community,\u201d said Neff. \u201cIt\u2019s only fitting to have two athletes who are helping shape the next chapter of Indiana sports history lead this year\u2019s celebration.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The parade is scheduled to begin at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, May 23.
