The 25-win difference marked the largest win improvement in franchise history. <\/p>\n<p>Lee began his coaching career as an assistant at Bucknell before being an NBA assistant with the Atlanta Hawks<a class=\"maisdio-link\" href=\"#\" data-sport=\"nba\" data-team=\"20000003\" data-name=\"Atlanta Hawks\" data-track-content=\"\" data-content-name=\"mai-sportsdataio-link\" data-content-piece=\"Atlanta Hawks\"><\/a>, Milwaukee Bucks<a class=\"maisdio-link\" href=\"#\" data-sport=\"nba\" data-team=\"20000015\" data-name=\"Milwaukee Bucks\" data-track-content=\"\" data-content-name=\"mai-sportsdataio-link\" data-content-piece=\"Milwaukee Bucks\"><\/a> and Boston Celtics<a class=\"maisdio-link\" href=\"#\" data-sport=\"nba\" data-team=\"20000009\" data-name=\"Boston Celtics\" data-track-content=\"\" data-content-name=\"mai-sportsdataio-link\" data-content-piece=\"Boston Celtics\"><\/a>, which includes being part of two NBA title winners. <\/p>\n<p>Lee was also named the Eastern Conference Coach of the Month after the Hornets went 11-6 in January.
